As a platform for international collaborative innovation, IOF is dedicated to breaking down geographical barriers to make orthodontic advancements accessible to everyone, everywhere.
In its first three years, the program attracted over 200 applications from 30 countries and awarded 49 grants, leading to 26 peer-reviewed publications. These projects reflect the program’s broad impact across orthodontic disciplines. Beyond funding, IOF provides mentorship and connects researchers to a global network of experts, institutions, and resources — accelerating project development and advancing education and patient care. By translating research into practice, the IOF enhances orthodontic care worldwide and supports the next generation of researchers through international collaboration.
